RAR Associates a Building/Developing Firm, is home-based in the town of North Beach in Calvert County, MD. Our emphasis on urban and waterfront development is apparent when one observes our many successful and highly acclaimed revitalization efforts.
Imagination and creativity are our guides to finding solutions unique to urban and waterfront properties – whether through rehabilitation or new construction or a combination of both. Our approach is to modify the total environment thereby creating pleasant working and living spaces inside and outside the unit.
Organized since 1976, RAR Associates has compiled a list of accomplishments which demonstrates our comprehensive planning and development of Inner City Neighborhoods and Waterfront Properties. Whether it’s a row of houses suffering from the effects of decay and neglect, a mixed use city block or a beautiful waterfront home, RAR Associates welcomes the challenge to stimulate new urban and waterfront life.

When we mean to build,
We first survey the plot, then draw the model;
And when we see the figure of the house,
Then must we rate the cost of the erection;
Which if we find outweighs ability,
What do we then but draw anew the model
In fewer offices, or at last desist
